Installation & Removal

Standard procedures for blades and anti-slip studs, plus troubleshooting

Carbide Blades

Installation:

  • Power off, clean blade holder slots thoroughly
  • Verify rotation direction marking (custom serrated can be adjusted)
  • Insert blade flat, fully aligned with positioning reference
  • Pre-tighten bolts diagonally in stages, use standard torque
  • Manual rotation check, then 5-min no-load test run

Removal:

  • Power off and lock machine
  • Loosen bolts diagonally and alternately
  • Support blade bottom with both hands
  • Clean and store in rust-proof packaging

Anti-Slip Studs

Installation:

  • Measure tire pre-drilled hole diameter, match to stud OD
  • Clean dust from holes, apply small amount of lubricant
  • Use press-in jig, press vertically at constant speed
  • Ensure uniform protruding height across all studs
  • Road test to verify no loosening or detachment

Removal:

  • Use dedicated removal tool, rotate vertically to extract
  • Do not pry at an angle
  • Inspect tire hole walls; intact studs can be reused
